Goal
Create a brand and website for a new salon
Scope
Brand strategy, Visual identity, Web architecture and implementation
The client's concept was unconventional from the start.
Martina Mitzová decided to open her own medical pedicure salon on Obchodná Street in central Bratislava. She was referred to us with a clear request: she needed a website with a booking system.
She wanted to combine aesthetics and medicine into a single concept, in a place where people feel as at ease as with their favourite hairdresser, but with the expertise and precision of a medical professional.
After the first consultations it became clear that a website alone could not communicate this concept. Without a clear identity, the site would work as a booking form without context, and customers would not know what SANIPED does differently.
The problem
A communication barrier
Customers confuse medical pedicure with a regular pedicure. Without a clear explanation of the service, Martina would face a lack of understanding and the resulting price sensitivity. Why pay more if I don't understand the difference?
A market that overlooks men
Salons nearby speak almost exclusively to women and focus either on aesthetics or on medicine. Nobody combines both. And nobody speaks to men, although medical pedicure is just as relevant for them.
A hard-to-find location
The salon is located in a passageway on Obchodná Street, rather than directly on the street behind a shopfront. A customer who finds SANIPED online must know exactly where to go, where to park and how to reach the salon easily without searching.
The solution
We created a visual identity that works naturally at every customer touchpoint.
The logotype and symbol were designed to work equally well on the salon window, workwear, print and social media. The palette rests on earthy tones and elegant typefaces by a Spanish type design studio, with no generic fonts that look cheap and interchangeable. The whole identity was designed around calm, trust and a clean space.
A website designed for booking
The website was built with one goal: to make booking as quick and straightforward as possible, without extra steps or confusion.
Interactive price list
For each service, customers immediately see what it includes, how long it takes and what it costs. The same system works in print in the salon.
A connected booking system
BookingPress is connected to the business's Google Calendar and also serves as the internal tool for managing appointments. The system is ready to accommodate a growing team without needing to be rebuilt.
Practical information in one place
Customers get clear information about access to the salon, parking information and parking benefits, on the website and in the confirmation email after booking.
